Weaving together the art & science of homeopathy

Arunjot Kaur Mushiana RSHom. MSc. BSc(Hons)

‘Working in health has taught me that healing cannot be demanded or controlled. Each person arrives with their own history, readiness, and rhythm. My role is not to impose solutions, but to meet people with care, humility, and attention — trusting that what is needed will emerge in its own way. Sometimes paths continue, sometimes they diverge, and both are part of a living process. What remains constant is my commitment to practising with integrity, presence, and respect.
Arunjot

I like to work with people who are thoughtful and engaged in their health, whether they are seeking support with ongoing or complex concerns, or looking to sustain wellbeing over time.
For many, homeopathy is chosen not only as a response to illness but also as a preventative and sustaining approach to health – one that can support individuals and families through different stages of life.
Homeopathy offers a steady, reflective space in which health is actively cultivated as well as repaired.
Working with the Body’s Natural Capacity to Heal
Hi, I’m Arunjot — a registered homeopath with over thirty years’ experience supporting people who are seeking a deeper, more considered approach to health and healing.
Homeopathy allows me to work with individuals as a whole person, looking not only at symptoms, but at the patterns, stresses, and lived experiences that shape health and influence the body’s capacity to recover and heal.
My work is guided by homeopathic principles that recognise health as something dynamic and responsive — shaped by physical, emotional, and relational experiences over time. In consultations, I offer a space that is calm, attentive, and non-judgemental, where you are met with care, curiosity, and respect.
I take time to listen deeply to your unique story, exploring how mind, body, and spirit interrelate in the unfolding of your health. Together, we gently explore patterns of imbalance in a way that feels supportive and empowering, allowing insight and change to emerge at a pace that feels right for you.
Over the years, I’ve seen how homeopathy alongside therapeutic practices such as meditation, breathwork and Traditional Chinese Medicine — can quietly support balance, repair, and wellbeing at deeper levels.
I work with individuals and families from a wide range of backgrounds and across all stages of life, offering a particular focus on hormonal health and mental wellbeing.
Before becoming a homeopath, I worked in mental health, social justice, and community development settings. These experiences continue to shape how I listen, relate, and support people. They inform a wholistic way of working that honours both scientific understanding and lived human experience, while recognising the social and systemic influences that shape health.
If you feel drawn to explore whether homeopathy might support you, you’re warmly invited to get in touch for a conversation to see if this way of working feels right for you.
“First do no harm, “primum non nocere”, is a doctrine as old as medicine itself.”

Working Alongside Therapy
Many people who come to see me are already engaged in therapy or psychotherapy. Alongside this, homeopathy can offer a gentle, complementary support — particularly when emotional patterns or nervous system responses feel difficult to shift.
I practise homeopathy as an ethical form of care, supporting healing while remaining attentive to the wider context of each person’s life.
My work is informed by over three decades of clinical practice, alongside a background in psychology, mental health and community based work.
Training, experience and influences
My path into homeopathy has been shaped by both formal training and lived experience. I qualified as a licensed homeopath at the London College of Homeopathy in 1995 and have been a member of the Society of Homeopaths throughout my practice.
Over the years, my work has taken me into a wide range of natural health settings, both in the UK and internationally. I have lived, travelled, and worked in different parts of the world, including India, Africa, and South America, experiences that have deeply influenced how I understand health, resilience, and the cultural contexts of healing.
Before establishing my homeopathic practice, I worked extensively within mental health and social care. This included roles as a trainer and consultant in anti-racism practice within service delivery, as well as managing a Women’s Health Centre in inner-city London. That centre supported women on very low incomes to access complementary and alternative health care, an experience that continues to inform my commitment to accessibility, dignity, and care.
Alongside my clinical work, I have served as a trustee and board member for several charitable organisations, including Homeopathy for a Change, Newham Asian Women’s Project, Hackney Young People’s Service, and most recently, The Academy of Hope. I also continue to volunteer in my local community with grassroot advocacy.
These roles have allowed me to contribute to community-based work that sits at the intersection of health, social justice, and collective wellbeing.
Although my experience as a homeopath extends over 30 years, it seems I never stop learning and expanding my understanding of energy based medicine systems and delving ever deeper into the mysteries of the dynamic nature of health and dis-ease processes. My personal journey with spiritual practices such as meditation, breathwork, dreamwork and sacred plant medicines have shaped a unique approach to my homeopathic practice and the interventions I use.
